In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
May peace and blessings be upon the noblest of messengers.
Esteemed guests, in all their esteemed positions,
Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
Firstly, we praise Allah abundantly and bless our efforts that have been crowned with His success and favor. Welcome to your home among us, adorned by your elegant presence.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and founding members, and personally, I would like to dedicate this occasion to the late resident, Professor and educator of generations, Dr. Mu’adh Al-Sarraj, founder of Al-Nasr Central Schools in 1956, Al-Nasr Secondary Schools in 1966, and Al-Nasr College in 1986. May Allah have mercy on him. He had a visionary foresight, contributing to higher education and establishing schools that accommodated the nation’s children post-independence. This dedication also extends to all graduates of the institution as a literary and moral right.
With the help of Allah, we pledge to continue the mission of this institution and contribute to its excellence. We are supported in this endeavor with determination and patience by the Ministry of Higher Education, the Non-Governmental Higher Education Administration, and all university councils working in close partnership with this prestigious institution.
Secondly, I seize this opportunity to extend sincere congratulations to its professors, staff, graduates, students, and all who have passed through these institutions since their inception. They deserve all thanks and appreciation, as Al-Nasr transforms into a university.
Thanks are due to colleagues and friends from various universities who share our passion for higher education and have generously offered their effort and advice.
We work hand in hand with parents to achieve the aspirations of this promising generation, preparing them for the future of our nation and engaging them in sustainable development efforts.
In our future plans, we dedicate considerable effort, especially as responsibilities grow greater in curriculum development, postgraduate studies, scientific research, quality assurance, infrastructure, and more.
Simultaneously with the university’s elevation celebration, scientific and cultural events organized mostly by students of this institution under the auspices of the Supreme Celebrations Committee and Student Affairs and various departments. To all who contributed to these events, I extend greetings and appreciation, working tirelessly day and night to present their diverse activities. Indeed, they are proactive students, and we value their collaboration and dedication, as has always been our tradition with Al-Nasr students and graduates.
Thank you all for honoring us and sharing in the celebrations of Al-Nasr.
Peace be upon you all,
Ebada Mu’adh Hassan Al-Sarraj
University Vice President
